Australia handed Jack Wildermuth his T20 international debut in the last group game against Zimbabwe, adjusting the balance of their team by replacing opener D'Arcy Short. It is the only change they have made to their line-up during this series, with the other ten players all featuring in every game so far. That has meant no appearances for Kane Richardson - who was in poor form against England in their final game before this tournament - or Mitchell Swepson.

Aaron Finch headed to Harare on the back of a blistering 84 from 41 balls against England and he picked up where he left off in Harare. First, he hammered 68 from 33 balls as Australia too just 10.5 overs to chase 117 to beat Pakistan in their first game. Then came his incredible 172 from 76 balls against Zimbabwe - hitting 16 fours and ten sixes as he broke his own record T20 international score. Had he not been out hit wicket two balls before the end of the innings, he may have broken the world T20 record of 175. 

Finch put on 223 with D'Arcy Short (46 from 42 balls) for another T20 international record, with both openers only dismissed in the final over. 

Most recently, Glenn Maxwell was in the runs - hitting 56 from 38 balls in the win against Zimbabwe last time out. 

With the ball, Andrew Tye has taken three wickets in each of the first four matches, with 3-12 against Zimbabwe his best figures so far. That continues the form he showed in claiming the IPL Purple Cap for most wickets - having taken 24 in 14 matches, including three four-fers.

When these teams first met, meanwhile, it was Billy Stanlake who stole the bowling headlines - taking 4-8 from four overs as he dismissed Pakistan's top four - three of them caught by Finch. Stanlake claimed 2-21 in the most recent match against Zimbabwe too.

Australia had won their last five T20 matches until their defeat to England at Edgbaston. That was the their only game of that tour, but they bounced back in Harare by bowling Pakistan out for 116 in their opening game. Billy Stanlake claimed 4-8, while Aaron Finch's unbeaten 68 led them home comfortably for a nine-wicket win.

Next up, Finch's record-breaking 172 from 76 balls helped them to 229/2 from 20 overs, before Andrew Tye took 3-12 with the ball in a 100-run victory. Their resurgence was checked when Pakistan hit 194/7 and restricted Australia to 149/7 in their next game, but they finished the group stage on a high by beating Zimbabwe to top the group. The hosts posted 151/9 but Glenn Maxwell hit 56 from 38 balls as Australia won by five wickets with a ball to spare.
