Ariana AKIF are favorites to win
The ECS Malmo T10 tournament sees Ariana AKIF and Ariana meet in the final at the Limhamnsfaltet ground. The match takes place on August 7 and the live action starts at 17:30 local time.
Ariana AKIF lost to Ariana on a Golden Ball in their final group game fixture, ending their run of three consecutive wins in the process. Star batsman Debarchan Dash delivered in the semi-final, however, as he posted 54 from 24 balls to lead them to 107/2 in 8.3 overs and an eight-wicket win against Malmohus.
Ariana, meanwhile, had Nusratullah Sultan in the runs again in their semi-final as he hit an unbeaten half-century – his second of the tournament – to lift them to 98/4 after a slow start. It meant a tougher defence than normal, but they sealed a 16-run win to reach the final.

Ariana are unbeaten so far, albeit needing a Golden Ball to beat Ariana AKIF in their final group game. Nusratullah Sultan’s batting has been particularly key and he hit second half-century of the tournament as they posted 98/4 last time out. Though a little below par, Absar Khan’s economical bowling was especially key as they booked their place in the final with a disciplined bowling display.
