Ajman vs Fujairah, Emirates D10 League
After a shock win against ECB Blues to get off the mark last time out, Ajman take on Fujairah as the Emirates D10 tournament resumes after two rest days. The match takes place at the ICC Academy in Dubai on July 29, and the game starts at 18:00 local time.
Ajman had previously lost their first two matches, against Abu Dhabi and Dubai, but Sapandeep Singh led a chase of 96 to stun the previously unbeaten ECB Blues last time out.
Fujairah have fared completely the opposite, meanwhile. They beat Abu Dhabi and Dubai, after losing their opening game against Sharjah, but they faced the ECB Blues’ backlash last time out. After the Blues’ defeat to Ajman, they chased 99 in just 7.2 overs to thrash Fujairah by eight wickets.

Ajman Team News & Playing 11
AAD Team News
Ajman found a winning line-up last time out and could retain it for this fixture. That included Amjad Gul Khan’s promotion up the order, which paid off well.
AAD Key Players
- Nasir Aziz: The captain and experienced former international took three wickets last time out to show he still has a key role to play.
- Sapandeep Singh: Started well with the bat, scoring 87 runs across his three innings, including top-scoring with 46 last time out.
- Amjad Gul Khan: Surprisingly down the order to start with, he hit 30 from 14 balls last time out to show why he needed to be higher up.
AAD Team Form
Ajman hit 98/8 against Abu Dhabi and 104/4 against Dubai but both times lost in just eight overs, by eight and six wickets respectively. They were big outsiders facing ECB Blues then, but upset the odds by bowling them out for 95 – Nasir Aziz claiming three wickets – and chasing it to win by seven wickets with eight balls to spare.

Fujairah Team News & Playing 11
FPV Team News
Promoting captain Asif Khan to open with Waseem Muhammad paid dividends against Dubai, but they fell short in their next game against ECB Blues. Losing to the latter is no shame though, and it may be a similar team this time out.
FPV Key Players
- Waseem Muhammad: Good batting form so far, including a half-century, means the experienced opener has scored 118 runs in four innings.
- Asif Khan: His 70 against Dubai means he has now scored more than Muhammad, sitting third in the batting charts going into the break with 128 runs.
- Ali Shan Sharafu: A little wayward with the ball so far, but the young all-rounder has made some amends with the bat with 59 runs from 26 balls across the first four matches.
FPV Team Form
Fujairah started with a heavy nine-wicket defeat to Sharjah, despite posting 111/7 from their ten overs, but they won their next two – keeping Abu Dhabi to 80/6 in the first win and then posting 131/1 against Dubai as they won by 23 runs.
