Ajman vs Abu Dhabi, Emirates D10 League
The two bottom teams in the Emirates D10 tournament face each other as the latest day of fixtures gets underway. Ajman and Abu Dhabi meet at the ICC Academy, Dubai, on July 30 and the live action is scheduled to start at 16:00 local time.
Abu Dhabi’s only win so far came against Ajman. They have lost five in a row since, however – most recently suffering heavy defeats to both Dubai and ECB Blues. They have fallen well too short with the bat and their bowling has not been much better.
Ajman have also won just once so far, however – albeit a shock win against ECB Blues. They fell to defeats to Fujairah and Sharjah most recently, including a last-ball, three-wicket defeat to the latter to further dent their morale.

Ajman Team News & Playing 11
AAD Team News
Abdul Shakoor was the surprise absentee last time out, as Ameer Hamza successfully moved up the order to open the batting. He is likely to stay up the order, but Shakoor could return to the team for this one and reclaim the gloves too.
AAD Key Players
- Nasir Aziz: Starred with the ball in Ajman’s only win so far to show what he can offer with the ball still – but the experienced captain needs to show it more often.
- Sapandeep Singh: A useful top-order batsmen, who was particularly good in the win against ECB Blues.
- Ameer Hamza: The top-order batsman was pushed up to open the batting last time out and smashed 53 from 22 balls.
AAD Team Form
Ajman lost twice last time out, heavily to Fujairah and then off the last ball to Sharjah, as they failed to defend two decent-looking totals. It was a jolt back down to earth after having been the only team to beat ECB Blues so far in their previous game.
Ajman Predicted Playing 11
Sapandeep Singh, Ameer Hamza, Amjad Gul Khan, Abdul Shakoor (wk), Sandy Sandeep, Omer Farooq, Ali Mirza, Nasir Aziz (c), Hamad Arshad, Shareef Asadullah, Saqib Manshad
Abu Dhabi Team News & Playing 11
TAD Team News
Kai Smith being promoted up the batting order was a positive change but there is still much to fix for Abu Dhabi, who did without Aryan Lakra last time out.
TAD Key Players
- Graeme Cremer: The captain has not lived up to expectations so far but he does have four wickets and his experience is key too.
- Rameez Shahzad: Hit his third half-century of the tournament last time out and the opening batsman is a key opening batsman.
- Dilawar Khan Orakzai: Back in the team to move to five wickets in four matches, albeit he has been very expensive too.
TAD Team Form
Abu Dhabi opened with a win against Ajman but have now lost five in a row after two more heavy defeats. First, they posted 86/6 against Dubai and lost by ten wickets in just 6.5 overs. Then, they conceded 150/3 against ECB Blues and Rameez Shahzad’s third half-century of the tournament could not prevent a 55-run defeat.
Abu Dhabi Predicted Playing 11
Rameez Shahzad, Kai Smith (wk), Ali Abid, Ghulam Farid, Usama H. Shah, Graeme Cremer (c), Rizwan Ali, Dilawar Khan Orakzai, Jalal Bhukari, Vinayak Vijayan
🏆 Ajman vs Abu Dhabi Prediction
Neither team is in good form, but Abu Dhabi have not won since beating Ajman in their first match and so Ajman can avenge that defeat.
