Who will win Adelaide Strikers vs Perth Scorchers Semi Final, WBBL 2019?
Second-placed Adelaide Strikers and third-placed Perth Scorchers go head-to-head at Allan Border Field, Brisbane, in the first semi-final of WBBL|05. The match takes place on December 7 and is scheduled to start at 10:10 local time.
The Strikers were one of the form teams during the league phase, winning six matches in a row to book their play-off place thanks to Sophie Devine’s incredible all-round form. They lost their most recent game, however – a result which ultimately cost them top spot.
Perth Scorchers, meanwhile, finished on a high – their win against Hobart Hurricanes, with Meg Lanning smashing a century, ensuring they go into the semi-finals in top form – on the back of four wins in their final five games. They will, however, be without England wicket-keeper-batsman Amy Jones.
