Sunrisers Hyderabad will take on Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 54th Match of the IPL 2022, on 8th May at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.

SRH is currently at the 6th spot on the table with 5 wins in 10 matches while RCB is at the 4th spot with 6 wins in 10 matches.

This will be the 2nd time both the teams will face each other in this season. In the first head to head match, SRH bowled out RCB at only 68 runs and won the match by 9 wickets.

Sunrisers Hyderabad

Abhishek Sharma is going pretty well this season so far. He is the leading run scorer of SRH with 331 in 10 matches. His opening partner and SRH skipper Kane Williamson is little out of touch. He scored 47 off 37 deliveries against CSK but then got out on 4 in the last match.

Rahul Tripathi, Aiden Markram and Nicholas Pooran are a good combination at the middle-order. If either of them is in good form then he can take the total near par score. Aiden Markram currently has a batting average of 76.25 which is currently highest of the season.

Washington Sundar and Marco Jansen were replaced by Sean Abbott and Shreyas Gopal in the last match. Both Abbott and Gopal picked 1 wicket each. They will get more opportunities to be part of the playing 11.

SRH’s pacer T Natarajan sustained injury in the match against CSK and he was replaced by Kartik Tyagi in the last match. Tyagi gave off many runs without a wicket.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Umran Malik are playing well and picking wickets.

Royal Challengers Bangalore

After struggling for a few matches, RCB skipper Faf du Plessis smashed 38 runs off 22 deliveries in the last match. Kohli scored 30 runs in the last match after scoring a much-needed half-century against GT.

Rajat Patidar, Glenn Maxwell and Dinesh Kartik are taking care of the RCB’s middle-order. Patidar smashed a half century against GT. Maxwell couldn’t perform with the bat in the last match but he picked 2 wickets for 22 runs and in the match against GT, he smashed 33 off 18 balls.

After a series of failures, Kartik finally redeemed himself a little with a 26 off 17 ball-knock.

Wanindu Hasaranga is among the top bowlers currently with 16 wickets in 11 matches. He is having a great season.

Harshal Patel, Mohammad Siraj and Josh Hazlewood are going pretty well with the pace attack. Siraj is struggling to pick wickets while Harshal Patel and Hazlewood have picked 13 and 11 wickets, respectively.
