Sunrisers Hyderabad were not among the top teams when the tournament commenced. Also, their two back to back losses in the first two games further dented their reputation. However, they bounced back in style to win the next five games before losing a close game to Gujarat. They now look a very formidable team. Chennai, on the other hand, have been ordinary. They have played eight games and have managed to win just two.
Sunrisers Hyderabad are playing good cricket and most of their players are performing well. They won’t be too keen on changing their combination as of now.
Kane Williamson and Abhishek Sharma will open the batting, followed by Rahul Tripathi. While Williamson has blown hot and cold, Tripathi and Sharma have done remarkably well. Sharma scored a 50 in the last game.
Aiden Markram and Nicholas Pooran will be the specialist batters in the middle order. Both are international cricketers and have played their part in Hyderabad’s success as a team in the competition.
Marco Jansen, Shashank Singh and Washington Sundar will be the all-rounders. Jansen has been brilliant with the ball, so has Sundar. Singh, meanwhile, showed his hitting ability in the last game with 6 ball 25.
Bowlers - Bhuvneshwar Kumar, T Natarajan and Umran Malik comprise a strong attack. Umran has blown away oppositions with his sheer pace. He and Natarajan are among the top 10 bowlers of the tournament. Bhuvi has also bowled well.

CSK is in a desperate situation and need to win all their games to make it to the playoffs. Moeen Ali is injured and won’t be available for selection for a few games.
Ruturaj Gaikwad and Robin Uthappa will open the innings, followed by Mitchell Santner. Gaikwad has been ordinary and will have to come good if CSK have to harbour hopes of a comeback. Uthappa, meanwhile, has done well, giving some brisk starts. Santner is in the team because of his bowling but can hit some lusty blows.
Ambati Rayudu and MS Dhoni will be the batters in the middle overs. Rayudu has stepped up his game in the last few matches. He played a brilliant hand of 78 in the last game against PBKS. MS Dhoni can also hit some big hits in final overs.
Ravindra Jadeja, Shivam Dube, and Dwayne Bravo will be the all-rounders. All of them have been inconsistent but have the skills to win games, both with bat and ball.
