Melbourne Cricket Ground will host the T20 World Cup 2022 Final Match while Sydney and Adelaide to host the semi finals

T20 World Cup 2021 winner, Australia is set to host the next edition of the mega cricket event. 2022 T20 World Cup will commence on 16th October, 2022 and a total of 45 matches will take place across 7 cities. Melbourne Cricket Ground is selected to host the final match while Sydney Cricket Ground and Adelaide Oval are selected for the 2 semi finals. The final game will take place on 13th November, 2022.

Among the 7 host cities, there would be Adelaide, Hobart, Brisbane, Geelong, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. Cricket is quite popular among the Australians and they have some of the best Cricket grounds in the world.

After starting their T20 World Cup 2021 journey as an out of form team, they have highly impressed everyone with their gameplay and passionate chases. As a result, Australia emerged the winner and grabbed their first ever T20 World Cup trophy which was one thing missing from their trophy cabinet.
