The table toppers, Gujarat Titans will take on 5-time champions Mumbai Indians in the Match 51 of the IPL 2022, on 6th May at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai.

Wriddhiman Saha will retain his opening slot for GT. He is in good touch. Shubman Gill got run-out in the last match against PBKS. He scored 31 runs against RCB and it must have helped him to regain his form.
Sai Sudharshan was included in the playing 11 against PBKS. He smashed 65 runs off 50 deliveries but no other player could support his knock.
Hardik Pandya looks out of form with the bat, since the last 3 matches. Miller and Tewatia both look in good touch and their place is irreplaceable in the playing 11. Miller currently has the highest batting average of 57.40, in the GT squad.
Pradeep Sangwan picked 2 wickets in his first match against RCB but went wicket less against PBKS. He might be retained for the playing 11 again.
Rashid Khan isn’t able to pick wickets at a pace that he used to but he has the economy of 6.92 currently, which is quite impressive for this format. He has picked 9 wickets in 10 matches.
Alzarri Joseph has fitted himself well in the team. He has picked 5 wickets in 5 matches. Lockie Ferguson and Mohammad Shami are well at the front to take care of the pace attack of GT. Although Shami gave off 43 runs in the last match, he is the leading wicket taker with 15 wickets in 10 matches.
