Chennai Super Kings now have nothing to lose after losing seven of their 10 games. They are out of the playoff contention and now will be looking to play spoilsport for other teams. Delhi picked up an emphatic win over Hyderabad in the last game to keep their playoff hopes alive. They have five wins in 10 games. They need to win at least 3 of the remaining four games to harbour hopes of progressing to the next stage.
CSK, meanwhile, have been ordinary this season but with Devon Conway and Ruturaj Gaikwad picking some form recently, they have given CSK some hope to string a few wins together and end the tournament on a high. However, their bowing still remains an area of concern.
Meanwhile, Delhi put up a dominating show against Hyderabad but they have struggled with consistency in the tournament and it will be interesting to see if they can win two back to back games, something they have not done in the season.
CSK have dominated Delhi over the years. However, their form this season has not been the best and Delhi will see this as an opportunity to reduce the gap between the two teams
