India have been outstanding on their West Indies tour. They won the ODI series 3-0 and then comprehensively defeated West Indies in the first T20I. The good thing about India in the first T20I was that the team bounced back from a tricky situation to register a big win.
At one point, India were 102-4 in the 12th over but they still managed to post 190 on the board, courtesy of a masterclass from Dinesh Karthik. This Indian team is missing the big players, especially the key bowlers, but they are still a formidable force and West Indies will have to punch above their weight to level the series.
The surface should be a good one to bat. Also, the ground is not very big thus we could have a high-scoring game, only if batters from both teams play to their potential. There could be some movement early on but that won’t last long.
The weather will be clear, bright and sunny. The temperature will range between 30 to 26 degrees. There will be a strong wind blowing at 26 kmph.
Shamarh Brooks, Shimron Hetmyer, Rovman Powell, Nicholas Pooran (c & wk), Kyle Mayers, Jason Holder, Akeal Hosein, Odean Smith, Keemo Paul, Alzarri Joseph, Obed McCoy
Rohit Sharma (c), Rishabh Pant (wk), Shreyas Iyer, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Dinesh Karthik, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravi Bishnoi, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ravichandran Ashwin, Arshdeep Singh
Shreyas Iyer had a poor outing in the first game and there have been calls to include Hooda in place of him. However, we don’t think India will change their winning combination despite media pressure. West Indies are also likely to play the same team.
India have been very dominant over West Indies in the T20Is

Rohit Sharma started his West Indies tour with a blazing 64 in the first match. Rohit looked in sublime form and played up some crisp shots. We are hoping that Rohit builds on the momentum and play another big innings.
Dinesh Karthik has been batting on a different level altogether. Match after match, he is proving his worth for team India. In the last game, he scored a 19 ball 41. He is a valuable selection in the team.
The West Indies skipper will have to play a big role if West Indies have to level the series. Pooran is dangerous T20 player and he needs to be at the top of his game in the second T20I.
The Indian all-rounder has been in fine form of late. With the bat, or with the ball, Hardik Pandya has been sensational for India. He is a must in our fantasy team
Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled well in the first game and picked up a wicket for 11 runs. Bhuvi has been bowling really well and getting early wickets for India. He can take out 2-3 West Indies batters in his first spell.
