Time | 7.30 PM IST, 2.00 pm GMT, 7:30 PM local |
Venue | DY Patil Stadium, Mumbai |
Royal Challengers Bangalore and UP Warriorz will face in a must-win game of the WPL. RCB face a battle for survival after losing their first five games. Neither their batting nor bowling has been able to make a mark in the tournament. The team needs to win all their remaining games and also hope some results go their way if they are reach the playoffs but their chances of making it to the playoffs looks grim at the moment.
Meanwhile, UP have blown hot and cold in the tournament, winning two and losing two games. Given that only three teams will qualify for the playoffs, they need to win the coming game to stay ahead of Gujarat Giants.
The surface has been brilliant for batting, however, with each passing game, the pitch is getting slower, making stroke-making slightly difficult.
The weather will be hot and dry with the temperature hovering around the high 20s.

Matches Played | UP-W | RCB-W | NR | Tie | |

Overall | 1 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
Wicketkeeper | Alyssa Healy (C), Richa Ghosh |

Batters | Grace Harris, Smriti Mandhana, Sophie Divine |
All-rounders | Ellyse Perry (VC), Deepti Sharma, Tahlia McGrath |

Smriti Mandhana has had a disastrous season with the bat and the skipper will be keener than ever to come good with the bat. Mandhana is under pressure but that can be a blessing in disguise for her as she often flourishes when pushed against the wall.
Ellyse Perry has been one of the bright aspects of RCB in a rather gloomy season. Perry has scored a couple of 50s for the team along with picking a few wickets when needed.
Alyssa Healy was in brutal form when UP faced RCB in their previous meet, with Healy scoring 96. She also scored a handy fifty in the last game.
Tahlia McGrath has also come good for UP this season with a couple of good fifties, including one in the last game. She has also contributed with the ball, chipping in with crucial overs during the middle stage.
Sophie Ecclestone will be key for UP as the wickets are getting slow and batting against spinners won't be the easiest.
