Venue | Trent Bridge, Nottingham |
Trent Rockets have had a good tournament so far. They have played 4 games, winning three and losing just one. They were on a three-match winning streak before their juggernaut was stopped by Birmingham Phoenix in the last game. Rockets posted a good score of 145 in 100 balls, but Moeen Ali and Liam Livingstone took Phoenix home with 7 wickets to spare.
Meanwhile, Oval Invincibles also have been good, winning three and losing one. They lost the first game but bounced back well to win the next three games.
The wicket will be a good one to bat. However, the overhead conditions might give some assistance to the bowlers. Despite that, it should be a high-scoring game.
The weather is not very promising as there is a 70 per cent chance of rain. The temperature will range between 12 to 20 and the wind will blow at 23 KMPH.
Alex Hales, Dawid Malan, Tom Kohler-Cadmore (wk), Ian Cockbain/Joe Root, Colin Munro, Lewis Gregory (c), Samit Patel, Daniel Sams, Luke Wood, Sam Cook, Tabraiz Shamsi
Jason Roy, Will Jacks, Rilee Rossouw, Sam Billings (c & wk), Jordan Cox, Sam Curran, Tom Curran, Sunil Narine, Danny Briggs, Reece Topley, Mohammad Hasnain
Trent Rockets can bring in Joe Root, though the team is playing well so they can stick to the same team as well. Oval Invincibles can give Saqib Mahmood a game.
Both teams met once last season and Oval Invincibles won the match by 9 runs in a shortened game.

Hales is someone that will not give you back-to-back performances but he brings a fear factor to the table. On his day, he is unstoppable and that is why we need to have him in the team.
Malan, contrary to Hales, relies on consistency. He has already played a couple of good knocks in the tournament and proved why he is one of the best T20 batters going around.
Will jacks as been in staggering form in the tournament. He has already scored a hundred and a fifty for the team. Goes without saying, he is one of the top picks of the match.
Taking about all-rounders, Sam Curran is a very good pick. He can swing the new ball and of course, can use the big handle and get quick runs if and when required.
Reece Topley picked three wickets in the last game. He has been in terrific form throughout the summer and has carried that into the Hundred as well.
