Venue | Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad |
Sunrisers Hyderabad were deemed as one of the top contenders for the IPL title but they played some poor cricket and jeopardize their campaign. With just 4 wins in 10 games, the chances of them reaching the playoffs are grim.
Meanwhile, Lucknow has blown hot and cold in the tournament. With five wins in 11 matches, they are still in the hunt for playoffs. They could have been in a better position but lost a few very close games. If they can win their remaining games, they may be in with a chance of reaching the playoffs.
The wicket will be slightly on the slower side and spinners will get some grip and turn. The new ball will be easiest to score and runs in the powerplay could well determine the outcome of the match.
The day temperature will soar to 40 degrees while evenings will be slightly cooler at 26 degrees. There may be some dew in the evening as well.

Quinton de Kock (wk), Kyle Mayers, Deepak Hooda, Krunal Pandya (c), Marcus Stoinis, Nicholas Pooran, Swapnil Singh, Yash Thakur, Ravi Bishnoi, Mohsin Khan, Avesh Khan
We will be very surprised if both teams make any changes to the combinations as they look a lot more balanced with the best players at their disposal.
SRH and LSG have played two games against each other so far but the Orange Army are yet to taste win against LSG.
Matches Played | SRH | LSG | NR | Tie | |

Bowlers | Ravi Bishnoi, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mayank Markande, Naveen ul Haq |
Quinton de Kock played his first game for LSG against GT and blasted 70 in 41 balls. De Kock with all his experience and attacking gameplay is a great selection.
Kyle Mayers has been brilliant for LSG. Not only he has been consistent, but has also scored runs at a brisk pace. Mayers-De Kock’s opening pair is one of the best in the tournament.
Heinrich Klaasen has been consistent for SRH. Coming in as a finisher, he has played some great innings for the team. If he gets more balls to face, he can get a big score for his team.
Glenn Phillips scored 25 off 7 balls to help SRH beat RR in the last game. Phillips has replaced Harry Brook in the team and will be eyeing another good show in the coming game.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar is a great new ball pick. He is good against the left-handers so he will have high hopes of dismissing De Kock and Mayers early. If he manages to give LSG early blows, SRH will fancy their chances of winning the game with ease.
