St. Lucia Kings had a mixed tournament last time around. They played 10 league games and won five while losing five. However, they did manage to reach the semi-final where they defeated Trinbago Knight Riders to book a title clash with St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots. However, they lost the final by 3 wickets.
Meanwhile, Trinbago Knight Riders was the best team of the tournament and topped the table with six wins in 10 games. However, as mentioned above, they succumbed to St. Lucia Kings in the semi-final. They are one of the favourites to win the title this time around.
The surface will be a good one to bat. The bowlers will also get some help with the new ball. The wicket may get slower as the game progresses thus spinners will also have a role to play.
The temperature will range between 20-25 degrees. The weather will be clear and fans can expect a full game without any rain interruption.

Faf du Plessis will be key for St. Lucia Kings. Du Plessis had a poor tournament with the bat in the Hundred but he will be more comfortable in playing the T20 format which will allow him to take some time to settle.
The name speaks for itself and the impact the player can have on the game. Pollard is a veteran in this format and even though he is not very consistent, he is a match winner on his day.
Andre Russell will be another player to watch out for from Trinbago Knight Riders. We don't expect players like him and Polly to score runs in every game but in games they will, their team will end up on the winning side without a doubt.
The all-rounder delivered some good performances in the Hundred for Northern Superchargers. He scored 137 runs and also picked up 6 wickets. St. Lucia Kings will be expecting some good performances from him in the CPL as well.
Narine is also a champion bowler when it comes to T20Is. He has some much variations up his sleeves that it is very difficult to pick him and score against him. Narine on a good day will get some handy runs with the bat as well.
