Time | 9:30 AM IST, 4:00 AM GMT, 3:00 PM LOCAL |

Sri Lanka and Ireland managed to reach the Super 12 after a convincing performance in the Qualifiers. Sri Lanka suffered a shock loss in the tournament opener against Scotland but bounced back to beat UAE and Netherlands to progress to the next round.
Ireland lost to Zimbabwe in their opening game but bounced back to beat Scotland and two-time World Champions West Indies to make to the Super 12s. They were brilliant against West Indies and thrashed them by 9 wickets. Sri Lanka and Ireland are placed in Group A, along with England, Australia, New Zealand and Afghanistan.
The wicket should be hard and bouncy, allowing the bowlers to dominate the batters. The winters in Australia are generally in favour of the bowlers thus batters will have to be at the top of their game to get big runs.
There is 50 per cent chance of rain on the match day. Also, because of the wet weather, the temperature will fall down to 10 degrees.

Paul Stirling played a scintillating inning of 66 off 48 balls to help Ireland script a magnificent win against West Indies. Stirling is one of the veterans of T20I cricket and Ireland will expect him to rise to the occasion and make full use of his experience.
Kusal Mendis has blown hot and cold in the tournament but he is Sri Lanka’s best batter in terms of skills so the fans back home will be optimistic about Mendis delivering consistent performances in the Super 12. Mendis gave signs of a return to form after he played a blistering inning of 79 against the Netherlands
The spinner took 3 wickets against West Indies and helped Ireland restrict them to 146-5. A similar performance will be expected of him in the next game. Delany is very consistent with his lines so it will not be easy to score against him.
Rajapaksa is a dangerous batter who can be brutal on his day. He has not scored many runs in the tournament so far but given his class, a big knock should not be too far away.
Wanindu Hasaranga will be the trump card for Sri Lanka. He is arguably the best spinner going around in world cricket at the moment and has bowled exceptionally well in the T20 World Cup so far.
