RCB would be dependent on their big names to deliver for them. All eyes would be on the captain Mandhana but Perry should be the player to watch out for.
Delhi Capitals has an experienced captain with five big trophies in her cabinet. Marizanne Kapp and Jemimah are the players to watch out for, having played well in the recently concluded T20 women’s World Cup.
It would be the opening match of the CCI stadium and the pitch is expected to be great for batting. The pitch might be just a bit slow as it is an afternoon match.
The weather is set to humid and the temperature is expected to be around 30 degrees.
Smriti Mandhana©, Sophie Divine, Ellyse Perry, Heather Knight, Dane Van Niekerk, Richa Ghosh, Indrani Roy, Poonam Khemnar, Renuka Singh, Megan Schutt, Shreyanka Patil

Both the teams would be looking to start on a fresh note after the Women’s world cup. Both the teams have good foreign players and they would be expected to do the bulk of contributions along with Indian players.
It is the first match between both the teams.
|Batters||Meg Lanning, Smriti Mandhana, Sophie Divine, Jemimah Rodrigues|
|All-rounders||Ellyse Perry (C) Shafali Verma, Marizanne Kapp(vc)|
|Bowlers||Renuka Singh, Jess Jonassen, Megan Schutt|
Perry made m ajor contributions for Australia in the Women's T20 World Cup to the team into the finals of the Marquee event. Perry would be expected to contribute in all the three departments and help RCB-W start their campaign with a win.
Kapp too played a significant role in helping South Africa reach their first ever finals of any ICC event. A terrific all-rounder, Kapp will have to come good, both with bat and ball if Delhi Capitals have to get past a strong RCB lineup.
There would be some kind of pressure on Smriti to replicate the same that she has been doing for the National team. Smriti would be expected to give a blistering start to the innings with the bat and allow the big hitters to continue the flow.
Renuka had a great world cup, with wickets in almost every game, even though she was a little expensive. RCB would be hoping she swings the new ball and gets rid of the dangerous Delhi top order.
The most expensive player of the Capitals team would be expected to continue the form she was in the world cup. Rodrigues is highly rated in the shortest format of the game and would be expected to do bulk of the scoring for his team.
