RCB has had a sweet sour start to the IPL 2023. They picked up a massive win over Mumbai Indians in the first match but were thrashed by Kolkata Knight Riders in the second game. Over the years, RCB has struggled with consistency and this is something they will have to work on if they are to lift their maiden title. They are a good team on paper but somehow mess up things.
Meanwhile, LSG have been good in IPL 2023. They have played three games, winning two and losing one. They won their home games against Delhi and Hyderabad but lost to Chennai in their only away game.
The surface will be a good one to bat early on and will get slower as the game progresses. Spinners are going to play a key role.
The weather will be clear with no threat of rain. The temperature will be around 19 degrees and unlike other venues like in Guwahati, there will be no dew.
F du Plessis(C), Virat Kohli, Michael Bracewell/Finn Allen, MK Lomror, GJ Maxwell, Shahbaz Ahmed, DJ Willey, Dinesh Karthik(wk), Mohammed Siraj, HV Patel, KV Sharma
KL Rahul(C), YS Thakur, Kyle Mayers, Deepak Hooda, KH Pandya, Nicholas Pooran, Q de Kock(wk), Mark Wood, Ravi Bishnoi, Jaydev Unadkat, A Mishra
Wanindu Hasaranga and Finn Allen will join RCB today, however, Hasaranga is unlikely to play against LSG given that he will need a day or do to get used to the team setup. LSG should play the same team.
LSG played RCB twice last year and lost both games. They will be under pressure in the coming game as well as RCB are playing on their home ground.

Virat Kohli started of IPL 2023 with a blistering half-century against Mumbai Indians. However, he failed to do much against KKR despite getting a good start. Kohli, given how well he plays at Chinnaswamy, will be eyeing another good score.
Veteran Faf du Plessis will also be a key player for RCB. He too scored a fifty in the first game and is one of the most consistent players in the IPL. The skipper along with Kohli at the top is a dangerous combination for any team.
KL Rahul failed horribly in Test and T20Is but it was expected that he will find form in IPL, however, it hasn’t happened. But even then, there is no denying the fact that he is the team’s best batter and can turn the table anytime soon.
Kyle Mayers has proved his worth in the LSG team both with bat and ball. With two half-centuries and a few good overs, he will be a key member of the Lucknow team in the coming game against RCB.
Siraj has been ruthless with the new ball irrespective of the format in recent times and his spell against LSG will be crucial. LSG is a top-heavy team and if Siraj can nip off a couple of wickets, RCB will be on top.
