Pakistan suffered a close defeat in the high profile game against India in their first Super 12 game. Pakistan now need to beat South Africa and also win against Netherlands, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe to move into the semifinals. On paper, Pakistan is a far better team than Zimbabwe and will start as favourites, however, Zimbabwe cannot be taken lightly.
With players like Sikandar Raza, Craig Ervine, and Sean Williams in the team, Zimbabwe is good enough to beat any team on their day. Zimbabwe escaped defeat against South Africa as rain forced the match to be called off. Now if they can pull off an upset against Pakistan, it will improve their chances of moving into the semis.
The wicket will have plenty of help for the fast bowlers. However, once the ball gets soft, it will get easier to bat.
The good news is that there are no chances of this match getting obstructed due to rain. The temperature will also be around 20 degrees which will be fine for the players.
Babar Azam (c), Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Shan Masood, Shadab Khan, Haider Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohammad Nawaz, Asif Ali, Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf

Both teams might play the same team that featured in their last game.
Zimbabwe have only managed to beat Pakistan once in 17 games.

Babar Azam has not been in the best of form of late but he is a class batter and should be back in his elements soon. Also, Babar has a great record against Zimbabwe so he is likely to have a great game.
Mohammad Rizwan has been in great form for Pakistan. While he failed against India, given that he rarely has failed in two consecutive games, he is likely to come good against Zimbabwe.
Sikandar Raza Is in middle of a purple patch and has consistently got runs for Zimbabwe. He is the highest run-scorer for Zimbabwe with 136 runs in the tournament.
Sean Williams will also be key for Zimbabwe if they have to beat Pakistan. The all-rounder can turn the game on his head.
Shaheen Afridi can get the ball to swing both ways and on these spicy bowling surfaces, he will be very hard to tackle for the Zimbabwe batters. Shaheen can run through their top order and thus set up the win for Pakistan.
