Both team have retained the core of the squad with minor changes. Delhi Capitals, however, has suffered a massive blow as skipper Rishabh Pant is out of the tournament having met a serious accident last year. In his absence, David Warner has been named the team’s captain.

Deepak Hooda

Deepak Hooda will bring a lot of value to the Lucknow team. He is a solid batter in the middle order and can play according to the situation and his off-spinners will be very handy as well.

Prithvi Shaw

If Prithvi Shaw gets going, he will raise Delhi’s chances of a win significantly. Shaw at times can play at a better strike rate than Warner, which is a tough thing to do. Shaw stays at the wicket for 10 overs, Delhi will have enough runs on the board.

Ravi Bishnoi

The young spinner can be a game-changer for Lucknow. He had a fruitful season for the franchise last year and will be looking to replicate his performance in IPL 2023.
