Lahore and Peshawar will meet in the Qualifier 2 to book a berth in the PSL final where they will meet Multan Sultans. Lahore Qalandars were thrashed by Sultans in Qualifier 1 by 84 runs while Zalmi defeated Islamabad United by 12 runs in Eliminator to stay alive in the tournament.
Lahore topped the league stage with seven wins in 10 games, however, they have suffered big losses in the last two games, by 84 and 86 runs, the reason being the lack of runs from the batters. Lahore has been over-dependent on Fakhar Zaman so other players need to come good as well.
Zalmi has been good with the bat but their bowling looks an area of concern. So the team that will be able to tackle their flaws will emerge victorious in the game.
The wicket has been good for batting and will stay the same in this crucial game. If Lahore can bat well and get a decent score, their bowling is good enough to make things happen, even on this flat track. Zalmi’s bowlers, on the other hand, will have to punch above their weight.
The weather will be cloudy and there is some rain predicted as well, however, the forecast gets better during game time.

Both teams will play the same team and changes look unlikely given the significance of the match.
Zalmi has a slender lead over Lahore Qalandars in head-to-head

Babar Azam has picked up some great form in the latter half of the tournament. He has hit five fifties and one hundred in the tournament with 480 runs to his name. He is Zalmi’s biggest hope in this must-win game.
Sam Ayub has also impressed one and all with his stroke-making ability. The youngster has 332 runs this season and has given Zalmi quick starts in almost every game which has allowed the team to post big runs on the board.
Fakhar Zaman will be key with the bat for Lahore Qalandars. He has been in great form and has played a big role in the team’s juggernaut. Fakhar has scored 384 runs in 11 games this season.
Mujeeb can be a match-winner for Zalmi. If there is one bowler in the Zalmi team that has troubled the teams is Mujeeb. With the kind of variations he has, he is not easy to hit away and that has allowed him to pick wickets.
With 16 wickets in just nine games, Rashid Khan has once again lived up to the expectations of a match-winner.
