|Date||May 20th, 2023|
|Time||7:30 PM IST, 2:00 PM GMT, 7:30 PM Local Time|
|Venue||Eden Gardens, Kolkata|
This is a knockout game for KKR. If they win, they will stay alive in the tournament as they will reach 14 points and will have an outside chance of reaching the playoffs, however, the hopes will be grim as they have a very poor run rate.
For LSG, the equation is very straightforward. A win will take them to the playoffs while a loss will hurt their chances badly. LSG have 15 points so if they lose, and MI, CSK and RCB win their last game, LSG will be out of the tournament. For LSG to qualify if they lose against KKR, they will need MI or RCB to lose their last game.
The wicket at Eden Gardens has helped the spinners as the ball has gripped and turned. Once again, the onus on bowling out a team to a low score will be on the slower bowlers. Toss will be crucial as dew could play a role.
The weather will be cloudy and there is a 20 per cent chance of rain as well. In case of a no result, Lucknow will move to 16 points. But still, they will need one of CSK, MI or RCB to lose one match.

Both teams would not like to change the combination in the final league game. There are no injury concerns in any of the camps as well.
Kolkata Knight Riders are yet to register a win against Lucknow Super Giants. The teams have played two matches with LSG winning on both occasions.
|Wicketkeeper||Quinton de Kock (VC), Nicholas Pooran|
|Batters||Jason Roy, Rinku Singh|
|All-rounders||Marcus Stoinis, Krunal Pandya (C), Sunil Narine|
|Bowlers||Varun Chakravarthy, Ravi Bishnoi, Naveen ul Haq, Suyash Sharma|
De Kock was benched for most of the matches as Kyle Mayers was doing well for the team. However, as soon as De Kock was back, he showed how big a mistake LSG did by making him sit in the dugout. De Kock has played some good innings for LSG in the few matches he has played and will be eyeing another decent show.
Stoinis played a remarkable inning of 89 in the last game against Mumbai in Lucknow. Stoinis has made a significant impact for LSG this season and a lot will be expected of him against KKR as well. Stoinis is good against the spinners which is KKR’s strength so he will be a key player.
Krunal Pandya scored 49 runs in the last game. However, he will be more important with the ball in hand when LSG face KKR at the slow track of Eden Gardens. A good batter and a potent bowler, Pandya will make it to most fantasy teams.
Rinku Singh has been a great find for KKR and what a season he has had. Singh has not only played impactful knocks but has also bailed KKR out of trouble in a few matches, including the last one against CSK where he came in the powerplay, against a potent attack with the team 3 down for nothing, and scored a brilliant 50 to help KKR beat CSK.
The veteran hasn’t taken many wickets this season but took a couple against CSK. Narine will be economical for sure but wickets in the last game will raise his confidence and he will look to bag a few in the final league game.
