Having won the first two games, India have already won the series against South Africa. While India have been a better team, South Africa have also shown great fighting spirit. They could only manage 106 in the first game yet gave India a run for their money with some sensational bowling before KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav scored half-centuries to take India home.
In the second game, chasing a target of 237, South Africa still managed to come close to India’s target. They lost three early wickets and batted at a run rate of less than 6 in the first 6 overs, however, a brilliant century by David Miller took South Africa at a touching distance of India’s target. However, India held the nerve to win the game by 16 runs.
The surface should be good for batting and plenty of runs are expected in the third T20I. The ground is also pretty small so brace yourself for another run feast.
The weather looks good with temperatures ranging between the mid-20s. There will be some clouds around but rain should stay away from the game.

Kl Rahul has looked in red hot form in the series. He has scored two half-centuries in two games. The two half centuries have also come in different situations. In the first game, he toiled hard but hung around to take his team to a win. In the second T20I, he was at his brutal best and scored runs at a strike rate of over 200.
Surya has been batting on a different planet. He too has hit half centuries in both games. The first 50 came off just 33 balls while he scored the second half century in just 18 balls. He is now the fastest batter to reach 1000 T20I runs in terms of balls faced.
South Africa were down and out in the second T20I before Miller showed his class and took South Africa to a touching distance of India’s total of 237. Miller scored a magnificent hundred off just 46 balls and turned the game on his head.
Kagiso Rabada has bowled well for South Africa in the series. He was tonked for 57 runs in the last game but he bowled much better than what the stats suggest. Also, Rabada is South Africa’s best bowler.
Deepak Chahar has not taken many wickets but he has been brilliant with the new ball. He has swung the new ball and has troubled South African batters. With his ability to swing the ball both ways, he can create some serious trouble for South Africa batters in the coming game.
