After thrashing New Zealand in the ODI series, India shift the focus to the T20I series. India has been ruthless in the T20I format and have not lost a series since 2021. They have won 10 consecutive series during this time.
Meanwhile, New Zealand are also a good team. They will be keen to do well after the thrashing they got in the ODIs. Shorter format will give them more chance of picking up a win.
The wickets have been absolute belters and we are expecting another run-filled pitch in the series. Ranchi is, either way, a high-scoring ground and given the form Indian batters are, it is expected to be a high-scoring game.
The weather will be sunny. The temperature will range between 27 and 14 degrees.

Shubman Gill had a top ODI series. He thrashed the Kiwi bowlers and scored a double century in the first match followed by a century in the final game. He will look to transform his form in the T20Is as well.
Suryakumar Yadav has been in red-hot form in the T20Is. The ace batter has been piling on runs for fun in this format of the game and will be India's biggest match-winner in the coming game.
Devon Conway returned to form with a century in the final ODI. He certainly would be keen to carry this form in T20Is and help New Zealand win their first game on the tour.
Kuldeep Yadav did well in the ODI series and troubled the Kiwis with his variations. He is going to be a challenge for them in the T20Is as well.
Mitchell Santner is a top-class T20I bowler. He doesn't give any opportunity to score easy runs and this helps him get some much-deserved wickets.
