India and Australia will step up World Cup preparations with a three match ODI series. Australia bounced back well in the Test series after losing the first two Tests. They beat India in the third game while fourth Test ended in a draw. The ODI series will give Australia more chance to beat India and even win the series. The likes of David Warner, Glenn Maxwell, Mitch Marsh, and Marcus Stoinis have returned to the Indian team.
Meanwhile, India will be without Rohit Sharma for the first game but they have plenty of match-winners in the team. The first match should be evenly fought but India will start as favourites as hosts.
The Wankhede is one of the best wickets to bat in India. It’s not a big ground and the outfield is quick too. The pitch offers help to pacers with the new ball but not much afterwards. The spinners also don’t have much say on this flat surface.
There is some rain predicted in Mumbai this week but the weather for tomorrow is clear, with temperature hovering around 30 degrees.

Key Players
Virat Kohli is back to his best and recently scored a century in the fourth Test against Australia. He has also scored three ODI centuries in recent series so he is a great pick for us.
Steve Smith didn’t have a great Test series but he is a key player in the white-ball set up. With stroke-makers around, Steve Smith can play the anchor role and score big for Australia.
Cameron Green is another player to watch out for in the series. Green is fresh from a century against India in the fourth Test. He is rated very highly in Australian cricket owing to his all-round skills is a key player in this Australian set up.
Hardik Pandya will be leading India in the absence of Rohit Sharma. Hardik has been sensational with bat and ball for India over the years and will be looking to continue his form in the ODI series as well.
Mohammed Siraj will be India’s premier fast bowler in the series. He will be accompanied by Mohammed Shami. Siraj has been sensational for India with the new ball across formats and India will need him to give early breakthroughs to the team.
