Date | May 15th, 2023 |
Time | 7.30 PM IST, 2:00 PM GMT, 7:30 PM Local Time |
Venue | Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad |
Gujarat Titans sit comfortably at the top spot in the points table with 16 points. They just need a win to move into the playoffs as the top-ranked team. However, they will not be taking things lightly as if they lose their remaining two games, they will end up with 16 points which should be enough for them to move into the playoffs, but they will lose the chance to play in Qualifier one, where the loser gets one extra shot for a berth in the final.
Meanwhile, SRH are hanging by a thread in the tournament. A loss and their campaign will be over. For them to qualify, they need to win all their three games by a big margin and then hope that some results go their way.
The pitch will help the spinners. It is a good wicket to bat but spinners will be hard to get away unless the batter is set and used to the pace, bounce and turn of the wicket.
The weather will be clear, with the temperature ranging between 41 and 28 degrees. The humidity will be 53 per cent while the wind will blow at a speed of 14 km/h.

What a cricketer Hardik Pandya has turned out to be. Hardik scores runs with the bat, takes wickets with the ball, leads a team and is electric in the field.
Shubman Gill has been brilliant for Gujarat Titans in the tournament. The batter has scored 475 runs for GT this season. The hosts will need Gill to give them another good start against SRH.
He is probably the greatest T20 cricketer of all time. Rashid took 4 wickets in the last game against MI and scored 79 runs in 32 balls, including 10 sixes.
Aiden Markram has had a poor season, with the bat and as a captain as well. He has made some tactical blunders which have cost SRH plenty of matches. Markram, however, is a good cricketer and will be eyeing to end the tournament on a high with some good performances.
Bhuvneshwar has got the ball to swing both ways but unfortunately has not got many wickets. But he is doing the right things and wickets should also come soon.
