England picked up a brilliant win over Afghanistan in their first group game of the T20 World Cup 2022. They now face Ireland, which is also quite an easy challenge for them, at least on paper.
Ireland played good cricket in the Qualifiers and defeated Scotland and West Indies to reach the Super 12. However, they were thrashed by Sri Lanka in the first match which makes the coming game a must-win for them.
The wicket in Melbourne is a good wicket to play cricket. The ball will move around in the first couple of overs before the pitch gets better to bat as the ball gets old. There will be consistent pace and bounce at the wicket.
There is 80 per cent chance on the match day. It’s wintertime in Australia so the temperatures will also be on the lower side.
Jos Buttler (c & wk), Alex Hales, Dawid Malan, Ben Stokes, Harry Brook, Moeen Ali, Liam Livingstone, Sam Curran, Chris Woakes, Adil Rashid, Mark Wood

Both teams are likely to play the same team that played the last game. There are no injury concerns in the teams as well.
The two teams have played one game against each other so far.

Jos Buttler is a top class T20I batter and probably the best player in the England team. Buttler couldn't do much against Afghanistan but that was a rare failure for him in a T20I game. Buttler is expected to come good against Ireland.
Paul Stirling has played a few handy innings for Ireland in T20 World Cup so far. He is Ireland's highest run scorer in the tournament with 108 runs, including a half century in four games.
Sam Curran is a handy player to have. On helpful conditions, Curran can be a brilliant pick as he can get the ball to move and pick plenty of wickets. An example of the same was against Afghanistan, where he took five wickets.
Curtis Campher is a great pick from Ireland. Fast bowling all-rounders will be key in this T20 world cup and Campher is Ireland's best bet in that department. He has already helped Ireland win a game against Scotland with an all-round show and Ireland will be expecting similar performances from him in the matches to come.
Given how the pitches have played, Wood with his searing pace will pose a serious threat to Irish batters.
