Canterbury vs Northern District – Super Smash Final | |
---|---|
Date | 11th February 2023 |
Time | 11:00 AM IST |
Venue | Hagley Oval, Christchurch |
Canterbury and Northern Knights will face in the Super Smash final. Canterbury had a rollercoaster of a tournament and qualified for the final having topped the points table. With six wins in 10 games, they were the most consistent team of the Super Smash league stage.
Meanwhile, Northern Knights' ride to the final wasn't smooth. They could only manage to win four of the 10 games, with three games ending in a NR due to rain while suffering defeats in the remaining three matches. They defeated Otago in the Elimination final to book a date with Canterbury for the title.
It should be a very good wicket to bat on. The boundaries will be on the shorter side so we could be in for a big scoring game.
The weather will be cloudy but rain should not interfere in the match. The temperature will range between 22 and 14 degrees.
