After winning the ODI series, Bangladesh started the T20I series with a win as well. The hosts defeated Ireland by 22 runs in a rain-curtailed game. Bangladesh shattered records and posted 207-5 in 19.2 overs before rain stopped the game. When the match resumed, Ireland were given a target of 104 runs in 8 overs which was too much for the Irish who could only manage 81/5.
This is five match T20I series and Ireland will be hoping to make a comeback in the second game, however, given the way Bangladesh have played at home, it will be a tough task for the visitors.
The surface will good for batting as we saw in the first game where the ball was coming on nicely onto the bat and Bangladesh batters took full toll of the Irish bowling.
The weather will be bright and sunny with a maximum temperature of 31 degrees.

Shakib Al Hasan is always a key player for Bangladesh irrespective of the format. He brings a lot to the table both with bat and ball. Shakib was not required to do much with the bat or ball in the first game but he will have to play a big role in the coming game.
After impressing in the BBL, Talukdar impressed one and all with his blistering strokeplay in the first T20I where he slammed 67 in 38 balls. He will be eyeing to replicate his show in the coming game as well.
Litton Das also blasted 47 off 23 balls in the first game and gave a solid start to the Bangladesh team. The experienced batter is one of the best in business and is hard to stop when on song.
Ireland don’t have many players who are used to playing in these conditions but Stirling, having played in PSL and BPL is well versed with the conditions. If Ireland have to upset Bangladesh, Stirling will have to play a big role.
Mark Adair was smashed to all corners of the park in the first T20I but him being the leader of the pack, he will be keen to make a strong comeback into the series.
