England defeated Bangladesh by three wickets in the first match. The bowlers did exceptionally well for England and restricted Bangladesh to a below-average 209. However, their batting line-up was blown away by the Bangladesh spinners. Dawid Malan scored a magnificent 114 to take the team over the line but Bangladesh gave them a massive scare.
The hosts will be hoping to put in a better batting performance as they have a bowling line-up that is capable enough to defend a score of around 250.
The surface on offer will be low and slow. Spinners are likely to dominate. Run scoring will not be very easy.
It will be hot and humid in Dhaka, with a temperature rising to 30 degrees.

Dawid Malan scored his best ODI hundred in the last game. Against the likes of Shakib and some good spinners, Malan dug in hard and scored a brilliant century. Not only he absorbed pressure, but also kept the scoreboard ticking.
Shakib Al Hasan had a poor outing in the first game. He was dismissed for 8 runs while batting and picked up 1 wicket for 45 runs with the ball in hand. Bangladesh expects more from Shakib as he is their best player.
Najmul Hossain Shanto continued his good run for Bangladesh and scored a solid 58. He is one of the key batters in the Bangladesh lineup and the team will expect another good show from him.
Taijul Islam troubled the English batters in the first match and picked up three wickets. Given the conditions on offer, he is a very good player to have in the team as England batters are known not so good against the spinners.
Moeen Ali will be a crucial player for England. He is a solid batter and his slow off-spin will be very handy for the visitors in the series.
